The development of energy chemistry and engineering is an important power resource and the basis for the sustainable and healthy development of the world's economy. Under the circumstances that the research and development of new green energy sources and their scale of production and use have received widespread attention from many countries around the world, more and more governments in developed countries and regions are taking active measures to encourage and implement green policies that support the healthy development of new energy-related industries and promote economic development. ICECE-2022 organizing committee with great honor extend you a warm invitation to attend the International Congress on Energy Chemistry and Engineering, which is to be held during July 19-21, 2022 in Xi’an, China.
With 3-day long program of Plenary Forum, 11 Parallel Forums(Energy and Catalysis, Energy Conversion and Storage, Energy, Photochemistry and Electrochemistry, Lithium Batter, Solid-state Battery, Solar Cells, Metal-air Battery, Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell, Nano Energy, New Energy Materials and Devices and Biomass, Biofuels and Bioenergy), Young Scientist Forum and posters presentation, ICECE-2022 is aimed to gather experts, scholars, engineers and R&D personnel together to actively explore of pioneering, developing and accelerating research and application of next generation energy technologies.
Due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, ICECE-2022 is built to hold in the combination of online and offline meeting. We sincerely welcome international speakers who are interested in the conference joining us by online meeting!

ICECE-2021 REPORT

2021 International Conference on Energy Chemistry and Engineering, hosted by the University of Electronic Science and Technology (UESTC), was successfully held in Chengdu during June 18-21, 2021. Dr. Hector D. Abruna, E. M. Chamot Professor, from Cornell University, USA and Dr. Marc A. Rosen, Professor, from University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Canada served as Honorary Chairmen of the conference. Dr. Xiaobo Yang, Professor and Vice-Chancellor of UESTC served as Chairman of the conference. Dr. Liejin Guo from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Dr. Licheng Sun from the Royal Swedish Institute of Technology, Dr. Changming Li from Suzhou University of Science and Technology and Dr. Jiujun Zhang from Shanghai University and renowned scholars from the United States, Canada, Sweden, Belgium, Japan and other countries conducted academic exchanges in a combined online and offline manner. More than 500 scholars from Tsinghua University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other universities and research institutes attended the conference on site.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Dr. Changming Li and Dr. Marc A. Rosen from University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Canada delivered a welcome speech online, expressing his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the experts and scholars who came to the conference, hoping that the experts and scholars would conduct sufficient academic exchanges, work together for the utilization and development of human energy chemistry, vigorously promote the rapid development of frontier technologies in energy chemistry, and wishing the conference to be held successfully.
In his speech, Dr. Changming Li said that energy, as one of the most representative leading industries in the world, is closely related to the development of human beings. A new round of energy revolution has been emerging since 2013, marked by the development of hydrogen energy technology. With cleanliness, low carbon and high efficiency as the main features, countries around the world are building new energy technology as a new economic growth point. The development of fuel cells, the clean use of coal, solar energy for efficient power generation and other core energy breakthroughs are triggering huge changes in global energy. ICECE-2021 focus on the theme of frontier technologies and innovations in energy chemistry. Subsequently, Dr. Liejin Guo, Dr. Licheng Sun, Dr. Changming Li and Dr. Jiujun Zhang gave the plenary keynote speeches of the conference.
During the conference, experts and scholars presented their academic results and had in-depth discussion on 7 hot topics including Energy Conversion and Catalysis, Energy Storage and Materials, Energy, Photochemistry and Electrochemistry, Energy Nanochemistry and Technology, Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell, Solid-state Battery and Lithium Battery.
As the first conference of the International Conference on Energy Chemistry and Engineering, experts and scholars attending the conference focused on the theme of frontier development and changes in energy chemistry and engineering, discussed the latest progress of research and future development directions in this field at home and abroad and explored the application of scientific research in the field of energy chemistry. ABOUT XI'AN

Xi'an was one of the most important cradles of Chinese civilization. It marked the start of the famous "Silk Road" that linked China with central Asia and the Roman Empire.
